VERIFY OPERATION OF THE BUTTON

NOTE:

Make sure that the Emergency Call Button is free of debris.

With the scan tool, read Global Telematics Box Module (TBM2) DTCs and record on repair order.
With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
Press and release the Emergency Call Button three times.
Wait 60 seconds.
With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Did the DTC return?

Yes
- Replace the Inside Rearview Mirror in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to MIRROR, REARVIEW, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- Test complete.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
