Pump, Water: Installation: 2.4L

  1. Clean the gasket mating surface.
  2. Using a NEW  gasket (8), install the water pump (4) and tighten the bolts (3) to the proper torque specification. Refer to (TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS  ).
  3. Install the water pump pulley (2) and tighten the bolts (1) to the proper torque specification. Refer to (TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS  ).
  4. Install the serpentine belt. Refer to BELT, SERPENTINE, INSTALLATION .
  5. Install the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, INSTALLATION .
  6. Install the right front wheel house splash shield. Refer to INSTALLATION .
  7. Perform the Air Evacuation and Coolant Fill Procedure. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
