Sensor, Air Temperature, Inlet: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the air cleaner resonator (1). For 2.4L Refer to REMOVAL , or for 3.2L Refer to RESONATOR, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL .
  3. Rotate the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor (3) 1/4 turn counter clockwise and remove sensor.
