Tray, Battery: Installation: Gas

  1. Position the battery tray onto the frame rail.

  2. Loosely install the upper battery tray bolts (1).

  3. Install the bolts (1) that secure the battery tray to the inner frame rail.
  4. Install the hood cable and guide retainer (2).

  5. Install the battery tray to frame bottom side bolt (1).

  6. Install the bolt that secures the washer solvent bottle to the battery tray (1).
  7. Install the inner splash shield. Refer to INSTALLATION .
  8. Install the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, INSTALLATION .
  9. Tighten the upper battery tray bolts to the proper specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  10. Install the wiring harness onto the battery tray.
  11. Install the Powertrain Control Module. Refer to MODULE, POWERTRAIN CONTROL (PCM), INSTALLATION .
  12. Install the battery onto the battery tray. Refer to BATTERY, INSTALLATION .
