Latch, Liftgate: Installation

  1. Connect the wire harness connector (2).
  2. Place the latch assembly (1) to the liftgate and position it in the latch opening (3).

  3. Install the liftgate latch fasteners (1) and tighten to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  4. Install the lower liftgate trim panel. Refer to PANEL, TRIM, INSTALLATION .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
