Electronic Control Modules (Service Information): Radio: Removal
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the instrument panel center bezel from the instrument panel. Refer to BEZEL, INSTRUMENT PANEL, CENTER, REMOVAL
.CAUTION:
Pulling the antenna cable straight out of the radio without pulling on the locking antenna connector could damage the cable or radio.
- Remove the fasteners (1) securing the radio (2) to the instrument panel.
- Pull the radio out far enough to access the back of the radio.
- Disconnect the antennas (2), and wire harness connectors (1).
- If equipped, disconnect the USB connector (3).
- Remove the radio from the instrument panel.
