Module, Emergency Assistance (EAM): Removal: Module

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the radio. Refer to RADIO, REMOVAL .

  3. Disconnect the instrument panel wire harness connector and antenna connectors (1) from the Emergency Assistance Module (EAM) (3).
  4. Remove the fasteners (2) from the EAM that secure the EAM (3) to the instrument panel bracket.
  5. Remove the EAM (3) from the vehicle.
