Resonator, Air Cleaner: Installation

- Lubricate the rubber mount sockets on the resonator with Mopar® Rubber Bushing Installation Lube.
- Install the resonator (1) to the throttle body inlet. Push the resonator down onto the locating pins until the rubber mount sockets are fully seated.
- Install the vapor line retainer (4) onto the resonator.
- Install the push pin (3) that secures the resonator to the intake manifold.
- Install the air inlet hose and securely tighten the clamps (1, 2).NOTE:
Ensure that the air inlet hose is fully seated on the resonator. The end of the air inlet hose can roll at the back during installation, resulting in a leak path.
- Connect the wire harness connector (2) to the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor (3).
- Install engine cover (1) to the mounting posts (2).
- Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
