CONTROL MODULE PROGRAMMING ERROR

NOTE:

Controller is programmed with outdated or generic software.

With the scan tool, read and record the vehicle's controller part number.
With the scan tool, select use Controller Part Number.
Flash the controller with the correct software.
Verify the controller flashed correctly.
Did the controller flash correctly?

Yes
- Perform the EPS VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to EPS VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- Replace the Electric Power Steering (EPS) Module in accordance with Service Information. Refer to GEAR, REMOVAL .
- Perform the EPS VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to EPS VERIFICATION TEST .
