Shield, Underbody: Installation

NOTE:

Right side shown, left side typical.

  1. Position the underbody shield (1) to the vehicle.
  2. Install the retaining nuts (3) that secure the underbody shield (1) to the vehicle underbody (2) and tighten to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Install the push pin fasteners (4) that secure the underbody shield (1).
  4. Install the retaining bolts that secure the underbody shield (1) to the vehicle underbody (2). Tighten to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  5. Lower the vehicle.
