Isolator, Rear CROSSMEMBER, Differential: Removal

  1. Remove the rear driveline unit. Refer to REMOVAL .
  2. Remove the bolts (1) and lower the rear suspension stabilizer bar (2).

    NOTE:

    Prior to using special tools, lubricate Press, Ball Joint: C-4212F threads to provide ease of use and promote tool longevity.

  3. Assemble tools over isolator crossmember assembly as shown:
    1. (special tool #C-4212F, Press, Ball Joint)
    2. (special tool #8858-6, Remover)
    3. (special tool #8861-2, Receiver, Balljoint)
  4. Tighten Press, Ball Joint C-4212F screw-drive, pressing isolator out of the crossmember.
