Amplifier (Amp): Removal: Notes

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the glove box. Refer to GLOVE BOX, INSTRUMENT PANEL, REMOVAL .
  3. If equipped, remove the Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFLS) module. Refer to MODULE, ADAPTIVE FRONT LIGHTING SYSTEM (AFLS), REMOVAL .

  4. Remove the fasteners (1) securing the amplifier (2).

  5. Disconnect the wire harness connectors (1) from the amplifier (2).
  6. Remove the amplifier (2).
