Injector(S), Fuel: Description

Four electronically controlled fuel injectors are located on top of the cylinder head. The injectors generate a fine fuel atomization at injection pressures of up to 200 bar (2900 psi). Each injector is held in place on the fuel rail by two suspension retaining pins and a retaining clip. An O-ring seal is located at each end of the injector to seal at the fuel rail and combustion chamber. Always replace the O-ring seals when servicing the fuel injectors.
