Insulator, Engine Mount, Right: Installation

  1. If removed, install the right engine mount bracket (1) and tighten the bolts (2, 3) to the proper torque specification. Refer to (TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS ).

  2. Position the right engine mount isolator (1):
    • Align the engine mount so that it is flush against the frame rail.
    • Hand tighten the center engine mount to engine bracket bolt (3).
    • Hand tighten the outer engine mount to engine bracket bolts (2).
    • Hand start the engine mount to strut tower (5).
    • Tighten the mount to strut tower bolt to the proper torque specification. Refer to (TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS ).
    • Tighten the engine mount to frame rail bolts (4) to the proper torque specification. Refer to (TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS ).
    • Tighten mount to mount bracket bolts (2, 3) to the proper torque specification. Refer to (TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS ).

  3. Remove the floor jack.
  4. Install the belly pan (1).

  5. Position the negative battery cable (2) to the transmission (3). Install the fastener (1) and tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to (TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS ).
  6. Install the left front wheel house splash shield. Refer to INSTALLATION .
  7. Lower the vehicle.
  8. Install the air cleaner body. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL .
