Insulator, Engine Mount, Rear: Installation

  1. If removed, install the transmission pivot bracket to the transmission. Tighten the bolts (1) to the proper torque specification. Refer to (TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS ).

  2. Position the transmission torque strut to the crossmember and pivot bracket.
  3. Install the transmission torque strut to pivot bracket bolt and nut (1) hand tight.

  4. Install the transmission torque strut to cradle bolt (1) and tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to (TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS ).
  5. Tighten the transmission torque strut to pivot bracket bolt, while holding the nut, to the proper torque specification. Refer to (TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS ).
  6. Install the exhaust crossunder pipe. Refer to 3.2L .

  7. Position the negative battery cable (2) to the transmission (3). Install the fastener (1) and tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to (TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS ).
  8. Install the left front wheel house splash shield. Refer to INSTALLATION .
