Insulator, Engine Mount, Left: Installation

  1. If removed, install the left side upper transmission mount bracket (1) and tighten the bolts (2, 3) to the proper specifications.

    Refer to (TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS ).

  2. Position the left transmission mount onto the vehicle.
  3. Hand start all the bolts.
  4. Tighten the mount to frame rail bolts (2) to the proper torque specification. Refer to (TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS ).
  5. Tighten the mount to shock tower bolt (4) to the proper torque specification. Refer to (TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS ).
  6. Tighten the mount to transmission mount bracket bolts (1) to the proper torque specification. Refer to (TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS ).

  7. Install the PDC (1). Refer to CENTER, POWER DISTRIBUTION (PDC), INSTALLATION .
  8. Remove the floor jack.
  9. Raise the vehicle.

  10. Install the belly pan (1).

  11. Position the negative battery cable (2) to the transmission (3). Install the fastener (1) and tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to (TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS ).
  12. Install the left front wheel house splash shield. Refer to INSTALLATION .
  13. Lower the vehicle.
  14. Install the battery.
  15. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
