Load Beam, Lower: Installation

  1. Position a lower load beam (2) on into the crossmember (3) and against the front end module (1).

  2. Position the lower load beam extensions (2) and install the bolts (3).
  3. Tighten the lower load beam extension bolts (3) to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .

  4. Install the two lower bolts (3) and tighten to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  5. Install the load beam link (1) and install the bolts (2).
  6. Tighten the bolts (2) to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  7. Install the vehicle height sensor, if equipped. Refer to SENSOR, AXLE, INSTALLATION .
  8. Install the front fascia. Refer to FASCIA, FRONT, INSTALLATION .
