Removal And Installation: Installation
- Position the lower control arm in the vehicle.
- Install the lower control arm to cradle front bolt (1) and tighten to the proper specification. Refer to FRONT, TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the lower control arm to cradle rear bolt (1), and tighten to the proper specification. Refer to FRONT, TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Inspect the lower ball joint to verify that the steel ring (1) is still seated properly in the groove of the boot (2)
- Insert the lower ball joint stud (3) in the steering knuckle (4).
- Install the lower control arm to knuckle bolt (1) and tighten to the proper specification. Refer to FRONT, TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the outer tie rod end to the knuckle. Refer to INSTALLATION, OUTER TIE ROD .
- Install the front hub nut. Refer to HUB AND BEARING, INSTALLATION .
- Install the front stabilizer bar links. Refer to LINK, STABILIZER BAR, INSTALLATION .
- Install the lower load beam. Refer to LOAD BEAM, LOWER, INSTALLATION .
- Install the front fascia. Refer to FASCIA, FRONT, INSTALLATION .
- Install the front recovery hook if equipped. Refer to HOOK(S), TOW, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to INSTALLATION .
- Perform a wheel alignment. Refer to WHEEL ALIGNMENT, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Install the under body splash shield. Refer to BELLY PAN, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
