Set Condition

The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) detects a fault in the Fuel Pump Control System.

The Fuel Pump Control Module (FPCM) loses the ability to detect short circuits, output state, over voltage, and thermal runaway. When this DTC is set; The FPCM will continue to run the Fuel Pump Module in the normal mode at the duty cycle commanded by the PCM. This is an internal FPCM fault.
