Injector(S), Fuel: Removal: 6.2L
WARNING:
The fuel system is under constant pressure even with engine off. Before servicing fuel injector(s), fuel system pressure must be released.
NOTE:
To remove one or more fuel injectors, the fuel rail assembly must be removed from engine.
- Perform the fuel system pressure release procedure. Refer to FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE .
- Remove the fuel rail assembly. Refer to RAIL, FUEL, REMOVAL, 6.2L

- Remove the fuel injector retaining clip(s) (1) from the fuel rail (2).
- Remove the injector(s) (3) from the fuel rail assembly (2).
