Cooling System: Engine: Thermostat: Installation: 5.7L/6.4L

NOTE:

Thermostat housing with an engine oil cooler similar.

1. Position the thermostat on the front cover with the vent at the 12 o'clock position.
2. Install the thermostat housing (2). Tighten the bolts (1) to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS GAS  .
3. Install the radiator hose onto the thermostat housing.
4. Fill the cooling system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
6. Install the air intake system. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, INSTALLATION, 5.7L or BODY, AIR CLEANER, INSTALLATION, 6.4L .
7. Start and warm the engine. Check for leaks. Refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING .
