Sensor, Air Temperature, Intake: Removal: 6.2L

The Inlet Air Temperature (IAT) sensor is installed into the rubber air intake hose near the front of the throttle body.
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Disconnect the IAT sensor wire harness connector (1).
- Lifting up on the lock tab turn the IAT sensor (1) 1/4 turn counterclockwise and remove the IAT sensor from the rubber air intake hose.
- Inspect the sensor probe for any damage.
- Clean any dirt or debris from sensor base.
