1. Install the generator into the vehicle.
2. Install the three mounting retainers.

   Tighten to 25 N.m (18 Ft. Lbs.).

3. Install ground wire on mounting stud (4).
4. Install the lower front ground wire mounting nut (5).

   Tighten to 24 N.m (18 Ft. Lbs)

5. Install the serpentine belt. Refer to BELT, SERPENTINE, INSTALLATION, 3.6L .

6. Plug in the field circuit (3) to the generator.
7. Connect the negative battery cable.
