Module, Body Control (BCM): Installation

Slide the BCM (4) into position so that the top mounting tabs on the BCM are properly aligned to the mounting weld studs and the lower mounting tabs slide into their respective mounting weld studs.
Install the lower fasteners (3), and tighten securely.
Tighten the upper fastener (1) securely.
Connect the wire harness connectors (2) to the BCM receptacles.
Install the glove box assembly. Refer to GLOVE BOX, INSTRUMENT PANEL, INSTALLATION .
Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.

NOTE:

Program the BCM in accordance with the module replacement and programming guide. Refer to MODULE PROGRAMMING .
