Theory Of Operation

The Occupant Classification Module (OCM), seat cushion, along with the seat heater and HVS vent bag if the seat is so equipped, are calibrated as one unit in the assembly plant. If this DTC is active, the seat assembly plant did not calibrate the OCM or the seat assembly plant did not calibrate the Service OCM/Foam kit or the Empty Seat Relearn procedure failed.
