Module, Drivetrain Control (DTCM): Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the cowl side trim panel. Refer to PANEL, COWL TRIM, REMOVAL .

  3. Pull back the drivers foot well carpet and position aside to access the Drivetrain Control Module (DTCM) (3).
  4. Loosen the mounting fastener (2) from mounting stud (6).
  5. Remove the mounting fastener (4) from mounting stud (5).
  6. Slide the DTCM (3) from the mounting stud (6) and remove from drivers side foot rest.
