5.7L Dual Fan

  1. Install the fan blade (4) to the fan motor and securely tighten the nut (3).
  2. Install the fan motor assembly to the shroud (6) and securely tighten the bolts (2).
  3. Route the fan motor wiring harness (5) through the fan shroud (6).

  4. Install the cooling fan assembly (1) into the lower radiator mounts (2).

  5. Install the cooling fan mounting bolts (2) and tighten to the proper specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  6. Connect the cooling fan wire harness connector (1).

  7. Install the upper radiator hose.
  8. Install the air cleaner body. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER .
  9. Fill the cooling system. Refer to ADDING ADDITIONAL COOLANT  .
  10. Operate the engine until it reaches normal operating temperature. Check the fan for proper operation.
