Module, Electronic Shift (ESM): Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.

  2. Using a trim stick or equivalent, remove the shifter bezel assembly (1).
  3. Disconnect the wire harness connector and remove the Electronic Shift Module (ESM) from the vehicle.
