Module, Anti-Lock Brake System (Abs): Removal

  1. To replace the Antilock Brake System (ABS) module, the Integrated Control Unit (ICU) assembly must be removed. Refer to INTEGRATED CONTROL UNIT (ICU), REMOVAL .
  2. Remove the fasteners attaching the mounting bracket to the Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) and remove the bracket.

  3. Remove the fasteners (3) attaching the ABS module (1) to the HCU.

  4. Separate the ABS module (1) from the HCU (2).
