2.2L Diesel

  1. Install the generator and tighten the bolts to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  2. Tighten the bracket bolt (1) and tighten to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .

  3. Connect the generator field connector (1) and position the B+ cable (3) to the generator stud.
  4. Install the B+ nut (2) and tighten the nut to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .

  5. Install the serpentine belt (1). Refer to BELT, SERPENTINE, INSTALLATION .
  6. Install the oil filter with cooler housing assembly. Refer to HOUSING, OIL FILTER, INSTALLATION .
  7. Install the Power Transfer Unit (PTU). Refer to INSTALLATION .

  8. Install the belly pan (2). Refer to BELLY PAN, INSTALLATION .
  9. Connect the negative battery cable(s). Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
