Removal And Installation: Removal

NOTE:

If the vehicle is equipped with a cam bolt service kit, paint or scribe marks on the cam adjuster and the control arm for installation reference.

Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
Using a suitable stand support the front axle assembly.

Remove the front brake hose bracket nut (1) and remove the bracket from the stud.

Remove the lower control arm front bolt (1).

Remove the lower control arm rear bolt (1) and remove the lower control arm (2).
