Link, Toe: Installation
NOTE:
The toe link must be installed below the stabilizer bar.
- Using a suitable holding fixture, support the outboard end of the lower control arm and lift it to normal ride height.
- Position the toe link (4) and install the toe link to knuckle bolt/nut (1) and tighten to 108 N.m (79 ft. lbs.).NOTE:
Position the cam as close to removal marking as possible to aid in alignment.
- Install the toe link to cradle cam bolt/nut (3) and tighten to 84 N.m (62 ft. lbs.).
- Connect the parking brake clip to the toe link (4).
- Install the stabilizer bar to cradle bolts (4) and tighten to 110 N.m (81 ft. lbs.).
- Remove the lower control arm holding fixture.
- Install the tire and wheel. Refer to WHEELS, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Remove the supports and lower the vehicle.
- Perform an alignment. Refer to WHEEL ALIGNMENT, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
