Outlet, Power, Universal Serial Bus: Removal

NOTE:

Take the proper precautions to protect the floor console rear trim panel from cosmetic damage while performing this procedure.

Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.

Remove the floor console rear trim panel (1) from the back of the floor console using trim stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent.

Remove the fasteners (1) that secure floor console rear duct (2) to the floor console rear trim panel.
NOTE:
If the foam seal on the console rear duct is deformed or damaged, the seal must be replaced.
Disconnect the wire harness connectors and remove the floor console rear trim panel from the vehicle.

Release the power USB outlet retaining tabs (1) and remove the outlet from floor console rear trim panel (2).
