Cooling System: Engine: Thermostat: Removal: 6.2L
WARNING:
Do not loosen the radiator draincock with the cooling system hot and pressurized. Serious burns from the coolant can occur.
If the thermostat is being replaced, be sure that the replacement is the specified thermostat for the vehicle model and engine type.
- Drain the cooling system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Remove the upper radiator hose (1) from the thermostat housing and position aside.
- Remove bolts (1), thermostat housing and thermostat.
