Section 87 (Charging System (Service Information)): Description

The charging system consists of:
- Generator
- Generator decoupler pulley (if equipped)
- Electronic Voltage Regulator (EVR) circuitry within the Powertrain Control Module (PCM)
- Ignition switch
- Battery (refer to BATTERY (SERVICE INFORMATION) .)
- Generator lamp (if equipped)
- Check gauges lamp (if equipped)
- Voltmeter (refer to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER (SERVICE INFORMATION) .)
- Wiring harness and connections (refer to STARTING/CHARGING .)
