Removal And Installation: 1.4L: Removal

NOTE:

  1. Press the release (1a) and disconnect the cable (1b) from the negative battery pole (1c).
  2. Loosen the terminal nut (2a) and disconnect the terminal (2b) complete with the intelligent battery sensor, from the battery (2c). Isolate the terminal (2b).

  3. Press retainers (1a) and disengage the cover (1b) from the power supply box from the seat cover (1a).

  4. Loosen the nut (1a) and disconnect the terminal (1b) with the power supply box from the positive terminal (1c) of the battery. Isolate the terminal (1b).

  5. Remove the nut (1a) and move the battery retaining belt (1b) bracket.
  6. Remove the battery.
  7. check that the battery is not damaged.
