Set Condition
- Rationality check of the positive engine torque request:
- A positive or negative engine torque request is sent via Controller Area Network (CAN) and no positive or negative torque request was calculated by the shift control software.
- Rationality check of the positive engine torque request magnitude:
- A fault is detected if one of the following occur:
- The actual calculated engine torque request and the delivered engine torque request sent via CAN are both greater than a first threshold for a calibrated amount of time.
- The actual calculated engine torque and the delivered engine torque request sent via CAN are both greater than a second threshold for a calibrated amount of time.
- Rationality check of speed gradients during gearshifts:
- The difference between the actual input speed gradient and the actual output speed gradient multiplied by the actual gear ratio is lower than a calibrated threshold.
