Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the floor console. Refer to REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the media hub. Refer to REMOVAL .

  4. Disconnect the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) switch wire harness connectors (1, 2) and remove the media hub from the vehicle.

  5. Using a suitable trim stick, remove the PTU switch (1) from the media hub The switch is held in the media hub by retaining clips.
