Module, Active Noise Cancellation (ANC): Installation: Module

NOTE:

If this Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is being replaced with a new unit, a diagnostic scan tool MUST be used to determine if alignment of the PROXI configuration data into the new ECU is needed. If PROXI alignment is needed, follow the routine outlined in the diagnostic scan tool for PROXI Configuration Alignment under the Body Control Module (BCM) Miscellaneous Functions menu.

  1. Position the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) module (3) to the bracket (2), then install and tighten the fasteners (1) securely.

  2. Position the ANC module and bracket assembly (3) to the instrument panel carrier.
  3. Install the fasteners (2) and tighten them to the proper torque specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  4. Connect the instrument panel wire harness connectors (1).
  5. Install the glove box. Refer to GLOVE BOX, INSTRUMENT PANEL, INSTALLATION .
  6. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
