2.2L Diesel

  1. Connect the Cooling Temperature (ECT) sensor wire harness connector (1).

  2. Using a NEW  O-ring seal, install the ECT sensor (1) into thermostat housing and push down on spring retainer (1) to lock in place.
  3. Install the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, INSTALLATION .
  4. Install the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, INSTALLATION .
  5. Fill the cooling system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE  .
  6. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
