Sensor, Differential Pressure: Installation: Installation
- Install the differential pressure sensor (3). Tighten the nut (2) to 11 N.m (8 ft. lbs.).
- Connect the differential pressure sensor wire harness connector (1).
- If necessary, install the mounting nut securing the differential pressure sensor to the steady rest mount and tighten to 11 N.m (8 ft. lbs.).NOTE:
Before installing, inspect both pressure hoses (4) and make sure there is not any dip across the hoses. In cases where water is frozen, a dip across the hoses can cause condensation which can set a MIL.
- Install the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF). Refer to FILTER, DIESEL PARTICULATE, INSTALLATION .
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
