Removal And Installation

REMOVAL

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable(s). Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  2. Remove the driver side steering column opening cover. Refer to COVER, STEERING COLUMN OPENING, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Disconnect the VSIM wire harness connectors (1).

  4. Release the retaining tab (1) and remove the VSIM from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION

  1. Position the VSIM in the vehicle and install the fasteners.
  2. Connect the VSIM wire harness connectors.
  3. Install the driver side steering column opening cover. Refer to COVER, STEERING COLUMN OPENING, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  4. Connect and isolate the negative battery cable(s). Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
