CROSSMEMBER, Transmission: Installation: Installation

- Install the crossmember (1) and install the six crossmember bolts (2).
- Tighten the six crossmember bolts (2) to 61 N.m (45 ft. lbs.).
- Remove the lifting device.
- Install the transmission mount bolts (3) and tighten to 61 N.m (45 ft. lbs.).
- Install the crossmember reinforcement brackets and tighten the bolts to 55 N.m (41 ft. lbs.).
- Install the skid plate. Refer to PLATE, SKID, TRANSMISSION, INSTALLATION .
