Catalyst, Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR): Installation
- If removed, install the NOx sensor (1/2) (2) and tighten to 55 N.m (41 ft. lbs.).
- If removed, install the Particulate Matter (PM) sensor (1/2) (2) and tighten to 60 N.m (44 ft. lbs.).
- Clean all the gasket sealing surfaces.
- Install NEW Selective Catalytic Reduction Catalyst (SCR) flange gasket (6).
- Position the SCR (9) onto flange and install the flange nuts (7) finger tighten.
- Install the isolators (8, 10) onto the SCR hanger rods.
- Tighten the flange nuts (7) to 32 N.m (24 ft. lbs.).
- Install the tail pipe assembly (12). Refer to TAILPIPE, EXHAUST, INSTALLATION .

- Connect the NOx sensor 1/2 wire harness connector (2).
- Install the NOx sensor 1/2 module cover (1). Tighten the nuts to 8 N.m (71 in. lbs.).
- Connect the DEF fluid supply line (1).
- Connect the DEF injector wire harness connector (3).
- Connect the front exhaust temperature sensors wire harness connector (1).
- If equipped, install skid plates.
- Remove support and lower the vehicle.
- Connect negative battery cable.
- Using a scan tool, perform SCR System Catalyst Reset function found under MISCELLANEOUS FUNCTIONS.
