Engine Block: FLEXPLATE: Installation

CAUTION:

Do not use an impact socket or a thick walled socket when removing or installing the flexplate retaining bolts, damage to the crankshaft, internal engine or the transmission may occur.

Position the flexplate onto the crankshaft and install the retaining bolts hand tight.
Using the sequence shown, tighten the flexplate retaining bolts to 95 N.m (70 ft. lbs.).
Install the transmission. Refer to INSTALLATION .
