Cover, Instrument Panel: Installation

  1. Install or transfer any parts necessary from the instrument panel cover.
  2. Install the instrument panel cover to the instrument panel reinforcement connecting any electrical connectors as needed.
  3. Install the screws around the center dash, around the perimeter, and around the passenger air bag support to the instrument panel reinforcement.
  4. Install the glove box. Refer to GLOVE BOX, INSTRUMENT PANEL, INSTALLATION .

  5. Install the passenger side instrument panel silencer (1).
  6. Install the left and right side cowl trim panel. Refer to PANEL, COWL TRIM, SIDE, INSTALLATION .

  7. Install the left end cap (1).
  8. Install the center dash speaker.

  9. Position the grille (1) back into place and seat the retaining clips fully.
  10. Install the HVAC ducts on the left and right A-pillars.
  11. Install the A-pillar trim panels. Refer to PANEL, A-PILLAR TRIM, INSTALLATION .
  12. Install the instrument panel storage bin. Refer to BIN, INSTRUMENT PANEL, INSTALLATION .
  13. Install the radio. Refer to RADIO, INSTALLATION .
  14. Install the instrument cluster. Refer to INSTALLATION .
  15. Install the steering column. Refer to COLUMN, INSTALLATION .
  16. Connect the negative battery cable.
  17. Install the floor center console. Refer to CONSOLE, FLOOR, INSTALLATION .
