Description And Operation: Description

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2019 Jeep Compass. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The Rear Driveline Module (RDM) transfers torque through the rear halfshafts to the rear wheels.

The Drivetrain Control Module (DTCM) manages the amount of torque that must be sent to the rear wheels through the RDM actuator.

The only serviceable components are the axle seals, vent and the RDM actuator.
