Diagnostic Test

  1. CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC 
    1. With the scan tool, read Radio Frequency Hub Module (RFHM) DTCs and record on the repair order.
    2. Turn the ignition off.
      NOTE:

      Do not apply the brake or the clutch in the next step.

    3. Press the KIN in all positions several times.
    4. Turn the ignition off and then back on.
    5. With the scan tool, read RFHM DTCs.

      Is the DTC active?

      Yes 

      • Go To  2

      No 

  2. EXAMINE THE KEYLESS IGNITION NODE 
    1. Check for anything that could cause the button to stick.

      Could you find anything that would cause a sticking condition?

      Yes 

      No
