Tube, Water Inlet: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the thermostat housing assembly. Refer to THERMOSTAT, REMOVAL .

  3. Remove the lower oil cooler supply hose (4) located below the water inlet tube (5).

  4. Remove the water inlet tube mounting bolts (1).
  5. Remove the water inlet tube from the backside of the water pump and discard O-ring seal.
