Diagnostic Test

VERIFY DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) IS ACTIVE

NOTE:

Make sure the battery voltage is between 10 and 16 volts before proceeding.

Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, read the active DTCs.
Does the scan tool display: U0001-00-CAN C BUS?

Yes
- Refer to U0010-87-CAN INTERIOR BUS - MISSING MESSAGE and perform the CAN C Signal Missing - Bus Off Performance diagnostic procedure.
No
- Refer to STORED LOST COMMUNICATION DTCS and perform the Stored Lost Communication DTCs diagnostic procedure.
